What is a Silk Top?
Silk top is a layer of silk fabric on the top front of the wig cap, covers hair knots on the lace.

When the hair is tied and knotted to the lace, the knots are blow the silk concealed between the two layers, then individule hairs are pulled through the silk material making the knots 100% invisible, giving the illusion that the hair is growing out of your own scalp. Most people love the natural parting that silk top lace wig gives however there're a few things you need to know before you purchase a silk top wig.

1. The silk top material is normally 4 by 4 inch or 4.5 by 4.5 inch on the crown area, it doesn't cover the entire wig.The larger the size, the higher the price will be.

2. The silk top material begins approximately 1/2 centimeter away from the hairline. That means there is 1/2 centimeter of Swiss lace with hair before the silk top begins. So there is a visible line where the lace ends and the silk material begins. There's not way to avoid this, but it can blend well with your skin when you wear it on.
